After nearly 35 years working in the medical technology industry, François Drolet is pleased to join the Centech team as Entrepreneur-in-Residence, medtech sector. François spent more than 20 years with Covidien (now part of Medtronic), holding several sales and marketing positions including Vice President, Sales and Marketing Canada during his last 8 years with the organization. Most recently, he spent 13 years at Roche Diagnostics during which, as a member of the Executive Team, he first led the Canadian sales team before spending the last 8 years as Executive Director, Access, Policy and Government Relations. In this role, François was also responsible for relations with various partners of the company. Always in keeping with a patient-centric approach, his many years spent within the healthcare industry, more specifically in the Operating Room, ICU, Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Anesthesiology, Nursing in general and Laboratory Medicine have provided him with great insight into our healthcare ecosystem. François holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Laval University in Quebec City. He has served on the Board of Directors of Medtech Canada from 2016 to 2022, served as an observer on the Board of Directors of Montréal InVivo from 2016 to 2023 and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian College of Health Leaders since June 2022.
