She co-founded Soundmind, leading its fundraise and successful exit as CEO, and is now a partner at MessagingLab. Starting her career as an analytical chemist at GSK and J&J, Erum later expanded her expertise globally as an ecosystem partner with TED, Singularity University, Google, and the UN. Erum is also the co-creator and co-host of the Grow Everything podcast, where she explores biotech’s newest frontiers. Based in Brooklyn with her husband and son, she’s passionate about biology, computation, and the transformative potential of biotech to create a healthier Earth—and a future in space.
